At Foundation Church, we want to help all people find and follow Jesus. Everything we do filters through that mission!
We also want to be a church that unchurched people love to attend. If you grew up in church, great! You’ll fit in here. And if you didn’t, great! You’ll also fit in well here. We have weekly services, groups, ministries, and events designed to help you and your family grow in your faith.
Hopefully you’ll find us to be a welcoming and open church where you learn to love Jesus more deeply so you can follow Him more closely. Come join our church family!
We believe that church membership is a God-led choice to unite with a body of believers and serve as a part of that body. Ephesians 2 tell us that as believers, we are members of God’s household. And there’s work for us to do!
We ask members agree to the following six steps in order to join Foundation Church.
We want our members to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
You were created to live in relationship with God. However, sin separates you from God (Romans 3:23). But Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), so you must confess Him as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
This is the most important decision a person will ever make.
We ask our members to have been baptized by immersion after salvation.
We believe baptism follows the example set by Jesus Christ (Mark 1:9), illustrates new life as a Christian (2 Corinthians 5:17), and serves as an outward symbol of a personal decision (Colossians 2:12).
We ask our members to be a part of a LifeGroup.
We believe life is better connected. A LifeGroup is a group of people who gather regularly to fellowship and study God’s Word. They are a picture of the early church in Acts 2: meeting in homes, fellowship, sharing in meals, prayer, and sharing what they have.
We ask that all our members commit to serving.
We believe that serving others honors God and honors people. Jesus was the perfect picture of a servant. Serving is a great way to use your influence to help people find and follow Jesus. It’s also an excellent way to build community with those you serve alongside.
We want members to practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands.
We want people to understand they are giving to God through the church, not to the church. Giving is not a business transaction but an act of worship and expression of gratitude toward God as we set aside a portion of the money we have earned (1 Corinthians 16:2).
One of the most important things you can do as a member at FC is invest in people you know who do not know Christ, do not go to church, or have been wounded from church.
We are trying to create a place where unchurched people love to attend—where they feel like they belong. We are passionate about introducing everyone who walks through our doors to Jesus. And you have an important part in that by invest and inviting.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and bylaws that help guide us in our decision making.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, and it the only basis for our beliefs. The administrative and pastoral structure of the New Testament Church uses a plurality of leadership, and we follow this model. We employ scriptural qualifications to choose pastors, elders, and deacons at Foundation Church.
